IDE Choice

I will switch to Dev-C++. Code::Blocks slows me. There are two reasons.

1- Debug can not be done if source file is not in a project. (This can be done in Dev-C++ easily)
2- To open a new blank source file needs one more key press. (Ctrl+Shift+N instead of Ctrl+N in Dev-C++)

How to add default Source Code for Code::Blocks when you make a new source file everytime?

You do not need to include headers, current time and your name everytime you make a new C/C++ Source File! If you need these things to appear automatically everytime you make a C or C++ Source File (Unfortunately Empty (Ctrl+Shift+N) doesn’t work ) just follow me.

To make it appear like this,

/*
	Name:
	Copyright:
	Author: StackOverflow1453
	Date: 2013-02-26-00.23.13 Tuesday
	Description:
*/

#include <stdio.h>

int main(void){

You have to add below to “File -> New -> File… -> C/C++ source”

/*
	Name:
	Copyright:
	Author: StackOverflow1453
	Date: $(NOW_L) $(WEEKDAY
	Description:
*/

#include <stdio.h>

int main(void){

-Then make a C file as below and test if it works.

“File -> New -> File… -> C/C++ source”.

Thats all.

You can useĀ http://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php?title=Variable_expansion for the other variables that you can use.
